We do not collect or have access to your cryptocurrency wallet addresses, private keys, seed phrases, exchange login credentials, or actual cryptocurrency assets. MetronFolio is a portfolio tracking tool only and does not interact with any blockchain or exchange on your behalf.

Your portfolio data, watchlist, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. We do not upload or sync this data to our servers.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect any information we do process, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) for all communications between the app and our servers.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CoinGecko API

We use the CoinGecko API to provide real-time cryptocurrency market data, including prices, market capitalization, trading volume, and price charts. CoinGecko may collect anonymized request data. Please refer to CoinGecko's Privacy Policy for more information.

Apple In-App Purchases (iOS)

If you subscribe to MetronFolio Pro on iOS, your payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Apple handles all payment processing in accordance with their privacy policy. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Stripe (Web)

If you subscribe to MetronFolio Pro via our website, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Stripe handles payment processing in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We receive a customer identifier and subscription status from Stripe. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

MetronFolio offers optional Pro subscription plans:

On iOS, subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You can manage your subscription through the customer portal accessible from the app settings.

We store a minimal set of subscription-related data (subscription status, customer identifier, and plan type) to determine whether you have access to Pro features.

6. Biometric Data

MetronFolio supports Face ID and Touch ID for app lock functionality. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system (iOS). We do not collect, store, or transmit any biometric data. The biometric lock preference (enabled/disabled) is stored locally on your device.

7. Data Export

You can export your portfolio data as a CSV file at any time through the Settings screen. The exported file is generated locally on your device and shared via your device's native sharing functionality. We do not retain copies of exported data on our servers.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at help@metronfolio.com, and we will take steps to remove such information.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Since your portfolio and watchlist data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

10. Data Retention

Locally stored data (portfolio, watchlist, preferences) persists on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

If you have a Pro subscription, we retain your subscription-related data (customer ID, subscription status) for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal compliance purposes.

If you delete your account through the app, we will delete your subscription data and cancel any active subscriptions.

11. International Data Transfers

If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our servers or third-party service providers are located. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app or on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
