Terms of Service

Welcome to MetronFolio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MetronFolio mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

MetronFolio is a cryptocurrency portfolio tracking application that allows you to:

• Track cryptocurrency holdings with purchase price and quantity information
• View real-time cryptocurrency market data and price charts
• Maintain a watchlist of cryptocurrencies
• Analyze portfolio performance with charts and analytics
• Set price alerts for cryptocurrencies (Pro feature)
• Export portfolio data as CSV files

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service
• Not use the Service to engage in any activity that is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
• Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Be solely responsible for your investment decisions. The Service provides data and tools, not financial advice

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and branding, is owned by MetronFolio and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Cryptocurrency market data displayed within the Service is sourced from CoinGecko and is subject to CoinGecko's terms of use.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

MetronFolio offers a free tier that includes core portfolio tracking, market data browsing, watchlist management, and basic analytics at no cost.

Pro Subscription

MetronFolio Pro is an optional premium subscription that unlocks additional features including advanced analytics, price alerts, DeFi tracking, multi-currency support, and CSV data export.

• Monthly Plan: $7.99 per month
• Yearly Plan: $79.99 per year (equivalent to $6.67/month, saving 17%)

Apple In-App Purchase (iOS)

On iOS, subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device after purchase.

Stripe (Web)

On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, or cancel through the customer portal accessible from the Settings screen in the app.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing period.

For iOS purchases, refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy. For web purchases through Stripe, please contact us at help@metronfolio.com for refund inquiries.

6. Market Data and Information

The cryptocurrency market data displayed in the Service (including prices, market capitalization, trading volume, and price charts) is sourced from third-party providers, primarily CoinGecko. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data
• Market data may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable at times
• We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the data provided
• The data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the app. When you delete your account:

• All server-side data associated with your account (subscription information, price alerts) will be permanently deleted
• Any active subscriptions will be canceled
• Locally stored data (portfolio, watchlist, preferences) will remain on your device until you uninstall the app

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MetronFolio and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any market data or information obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data
• Investment decisions made based on information provided by the Service
• Any loss of cryptocurrency or financial assets, regardless of the cause

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the greater of fifty dollars ($50.00) or the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the liability.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MetronFolio and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website and within the app. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other means. By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
